Great news!! Ringling bros. circus is finally ending it’s years cruelly training it’s elephants! According to the link…
Elephants will be completely phased out of the circus’ performances in May — a year and a half earlier than expected. They will live out their lives at the company’s 200-acre Center for Elephant Conservation, in central Florida.
But I wonder. Will Ringling bros. keep their word? And will the elephants be sold to other shows? Or a zoo? Or research? Will the place be turned into a breeding facility, like an elephant version of a puppy mill?
